Retirement documentation

Featured Replies

Where can I find what documentation is required for a first time retirement visa, is it called an extension as it's the first application? I'm on the non O retirement, 90 days.

You will be applying for a one year extension of stay based upon retirement during the last 30 days of the 90 day entry from your non-o visa.

Basic requirements are here. https://www.immigration.go.th/content/service_22

You will need a completed TM7 form with a 6 X 4 cm photo attached. Download, complete and print 2 sided this Fillable TM7 form.pdf

You will need copies of your passport photo page, visa, entry stamp and TM6 departure card. Some offices will want a copy of every page that has a Thai visa or stamp on it.

Might help to state which imm office your applying for extension as some are quirky.

Phuket. For my 90 thingie I had to give a ,draw, map. Of where I live, luckily my taxi drive was able to draw it for me.

You will need the map again. They will also want a photo of you showing the house or room number of where you are staying.
