i have just bought a new car and have received the number plates.

however i haven't received what we back home would call the log book ?

Anyone know what passes as the log book and how i obtain it ?

Red plates??

it will take about 2-3 months before you get the white plates (i think), and then you will get the blue book

i didn't bother with the red plates as you have to pay extra.

i received my wite plates yesterday after having the car for about 6 weeks

so you think about 2 months for the blue book ?

and is it posted ?

I bought my car from expatmotors, they take care of everything, send me the white plates blue book, so i am not sure about what other car sales people do.
