BANGKOK — Three elderly actors, two famed for their roles as villains, will run for office in one of several offshoot parties of the Pheu Thai Party.

 

Party leader and Redshirt leader Jatuporn Promphan welcomed Suriya Chinphan, Dam Dasakorn and Kowit Wattanakul on Thursday, saying they would run as MP candidates in the Pheu Chart Party.

Will all these offshoot paties join as one party at a later date after the election to once again form the Pheu Thai Party ?

They'll be in the right place then, it's a villains game!

At least its fake villains, i got more problems with the real villains in the PTP and other parties. 

Aging film villains seeking to become parliamentarians. Why is that news? As far as I can judge. Thailand's national assembly has always been mostly constituted of villains, thugs, scoundrels, lecherous geezers, drama queens... and terrible, terrible actors the bunch of them.

Sounds a bit like the current bunch in Westminster too!
