Former NLA member declares yearly earnings of Bt6.6m

FORMER AIR Force chief ACM Johm Rungswang declared assets worth Bt20.8 million and yearly earnings of Bt6.6 million before resigning as a National Legislative Assembly (NLA) member on October 1, the anti-graft agency revealed yesterday.

 

Johm’s declared assets include Bt14.4 million in bank deposits, Bt2.1 million in investments and properties valued at Bt4.1 million, according to information made public by the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC).

 

The former Air Force chief declared yearly earnings include Bt1.8 million in wages, Bt1.3 million in NLA remuneration, Bt1.6 million and Bt1.8 million in payments and meeting fees from Thai Airways and Thai Aviation Industries, respectively.

 

He also reported a bank loan worth Bt1.03 million.

 

Johm also declared that his wife, Group Captain Koranan, has assets worth Bt7.9 million, including Bt2.6 million in bank deposits, three cars valued at Bt2.3 million in total and properties worth Bt2.9 million. He also reported that his spouse earned Bt853,380 a year and had a bank loan of Bt1.3 million. 

 

Johm served as commander-in-chief of the Royal Thai Air Force from October 2016 until the end of September this year. He was appointed as a member of the Privy Council in early October.

 

Like other public-office holders, Johm is required by law to declare his finances, including income, assets and debts to the NACC after assuming office and after leaving office.

Well he is obviously a hard working Thai official. As is his wife.

Why pick out this man, all his friends and colleagues have the same astuteness in business.

 Meanwhile I employ a hard working talented builder to make my garage/shed.

I give him Bt500 every day and his assistant Bt400. 

 They don't have the flash uniform but I truly respect them.

 As all western right wing politicians state - the more money you give to the rich, the trickle down effect allows to poor to subsist/exist.

Got to love true capitalism.

 

He's doing well as you would expect from someone of his status, if there is truly no other unaccounted income then he is one in a million and must have been hard to find. How about details of a few more nobs. 

 

This really is the honest taxi driver story for the Hiso wealthy.

A declaration like this by P and P, a declaration that was truly believable and legitimate would go a long way towards demonstrating sincere interest in wanting to return happiness to the people.

 

But that declaration needs to be audited under the WATCHful eye of TVF sleuths to be certain that no contributions have been made in the name of others or clandestinely placed in foreign bank accounts on behalf of the one being audited.

Prawit, at the last count, has made 5 million a year for the last SIX years on a stipend of under a million: (not including borrowed watches.)

If he has so much money, why on earth do he and his wife require bank loans?!!!

Do you think a former Air Chief Marshall might have some knowledge and opinions that might possibly be useful to an Airline operator?
