Is Ban Phu Nam Ron the best choice for a visa run out of Bangkok?

Featured Replies

I entered Thailand visa free and have already done the 30 day extension which will expire December 18. I need (I think) about 2 more weeks to finish up here before going home. I have a bike I can ride or I'm fine with taking a bus.

It is a good choice since it is closer than any other crossing. Also no need for a visa on arrival which is need for Cambodia crossing.

You will pay 960 baht that includes transport across no mans land and back again and 500 baht for the Myanmar border pass.

Thank you Joe, do I need anything besides my passport and the cash?

Should I be carrying 20,000 baht in case they ask?

Is there a service for this running out of Bangkok?

No report of it being asked for at that crossing.

Maybe comment this isn't allowed but anyway the above reply from ubon just demonstrates why the TV community appreciate him so much. Member had very specific questions and bang bang bang, taken care of with such exacting detail.

Thanks again, Joe.

And yes, I agree with DrJack54. Even as a total newbie I can recognize that Joe is a valuable asset to the community.
