Thai Consulate in Veintene, Laos is cracking down on repeat tourist visas.

This morning friend of mine went to the consulate to get a new tourist visa and on the bulletin board there is a new form stating that the Thai government will be checking each and every application and passport who applies for a tourist visa to see if you have too many tourist visas. They said that they will at their discretion start categorically denying people tourist visas that they think are working in Thailand under a tourist visa. And the further stated that anyone that looks like they're doing back-to-back tourist visas long-term will be denied a new Visa.
