stevenl
The quota system doesn't have a positive effect on corals and other marine life this fast. On top of that, so far the quota system hasn't effected the number of divers. This recovery is probably more related to boats not visiting east of Eden for some time, since the site suffered from coral bleaching 6 or so years ago. Excellent news it is recovering of course. Deli
Number of divers decreased again this year, as the overall number of western tourists to Thailand. Good to see that East of Eden recovers, however, still by for too many speed boats with snorkelers out at the islands. And they are the main reason of the problems, not the divers in little numbers.
