Cambodian man arrested after death of Saraburi teen in Pattaya

 

 

Pattaya station chief Pol Col Apichai Krobpetch has announced the arrest of a 24 year old Cambodian man after the death of a 15 year old girl from Saraburi last week. 

 

Wichayaphat Nannithichote was found dead in Benjarong apartments in Soi Korphai. 

 

 

A woman who said that she was a coworker of the deceased reportedly found the body after she failed to turn up for work at a karaoke lounge. 

 

Now the story has changed. 

 

Pattaya News reported that Jan Sukphiap or "F" aged 24 was arrested at his lodgings.

 

He was a worker at the "Khong Jing Club" karaoke lounge in Soi Lang Talad Sophon. 

 

The accused said that the victim was a customer of the lounge whom he knew. 

 

After the lounge closed he took the victim to her room (number 10) and had sex with her.

 

After sex she tensed up and stopped breathing. He said he panicked and left her there.

 

He has been charged with taking a girl over 15 but not yet 18 away from her parents and negligently being the cause of her death. He also faces charges in relation to concealment and interfering with a corpse.

 

Thaivisa notes that this is somewhat at odds with a whiteboard description of the charge in Thai that states that the victim was not yet 15. 

 

This discrepancy and the change of information from previous testimony from the alleged coworker was not mentioned in the Pattaya News story. 

 

The Cambodian is now in custody. 

 

A video, which is too graphic to post, showed the couple arrive at the scene of the crime on Monday morning of last week. Some two hours later the man was seen to leave.

I wouldn't advise anyone with a nervous disposition to look at that. It shows the gruesome aftermath that is blurred out in the photo above. I don't know what this guy did to her but it wasn't nice, that's for sure. 

There is no such thing as a 'clear story' here! Everything is convoluted & confused!

Clearly the girl was an underage worker at this Karaoke place!  What are the police going to do about that ?

Depends if their dues have been received.

Human scum, I hope he will get the death penalty for what he did. And if you have any doubts you can check the video in the source link (not recommended).

doing that to a 15 year old child.

Have no idea what the heck the guy did to the young woman (girl). But presumably it has something to do with the included charge of "interfering with a corpse" -- which isn't a charge that you hear very frequently even here in Thailand!
