Police investigating possible murder of 16 year old girl in Pattaya

The Pattaya News said that some evidence points to murder in the death of a 16 year old girl found dead in South Pattaya.

 

Wichayaphat Nannithichote was found by a colleague after she had failed to turn up for work at a nighttime entertainment venue in South Pattaya.

 

Patchara said she had not seen her friend since Monday and was concerned for her welfare. 

 

The victim was originally from Saraburi. 

 

A police team led by local station chief Pol Col Apichai Krobpetch and forensics officers found the victim face up on a mattress on the floor. She was dressed in black and her lower body was covered by a blanket. 

 

There were signs of a struggle in the room.

 

Due to the advanced state of decomposition of the body it was not initially apparent what had caused her death. 

 

Clumps of the victim's hair and fingerprints in the room were taken for analysis. 

 

CCTV showed the victim arrive with a man dressed in black on Monday morning. 

 

He is believed to have left about an hour later and the victim was not seen again on CCTV. 

 

Police want to talk to the man caught on CCTV.

A 16 year old bar girl?  I would like to believe that her employer, sorry, wrong word, exploiter, will be charged, but I doubt it.

Why?

Very common that underage girls work beer bars AND go-go bars.

They arrive in BKK & Pattaya or wherever, and go get themselves false ID cards.

Easy peasy.

Just like you can get false diplomas, driving licenses etc etc.

How's the employer know any different if the 16 y/o employee shows him an ID card saying she's 20?

A few years ago i was visiting the Missus's village over a holiday period, my daughter was 15 (FIFTEEN) then, and it was pointed out to me 3 of these very pretty girls who i thought were 17-18-19, were her ex classmates, left school early and were all working in bars in BKK-Pattaya....

Go figure....

So they are looking for The man in black.

RIP young lady,if you were murdered i hope

they quickly find the perpetrator .

Sorry , but that is a most ignorant, uninformed post I have read in a long time.  Of course her age can be verified, a  5 Baht call to her local Amphur is enough, he just didn't bother. Its child exploitation, it should always be condemned. If, as you state,  you have a daughter , then  your attitude in the post is even more  odd.  Now she is dead, simply  because other people didn't act.

Yes it may be wrong, but has it actually occurred to you that the girl in the OP and the 3 girls i mentioned in my post actually wanted to be there and were doing their job willingly?

By the way, our daughter is now about to enter her 4th year at university....

And her ex classmates are still alive, and happy and working the bars.

True, IF the employer bothered to check her ID and took a copy of it. If it shows she is of age then it would be reasonable for him/her to not be liable as they have done appropriate checks. Whatever the case here it is terribly sad that a young girl has lost her life. Just 16 years old. RIP

Whatever job she had there, is therefore speculation, like it could also be a larger entertainment where she is working as service staff (they do have that). However that don't stop a girl from having a boyfriend, or seeing a man when she's off duty.

People in here only think beerbar crazy 

There are meny good night entertainment pubs with food and music thai love that 

And probably it was a bf there leave the room and probably he are the killer too
