Featured Replies

What is it with this country? First I was locked out of my Home Depot account from America, now my bank is blocked.

POS Thailand. What is next.

Home depot /bank restriction dont blame Thailand for that.

Use a VPN and you wont have a problem (usually).

Yeah, weird that HomeDepot block Thailand but not Malaysia, Singapore etc.

US banks seem to do all sorts of odd things with international access.

@garyk which bank is giving you grief?

Thailand has a bad reputation for having a lot of cyber attackers, infected computers etc.

So some website admins take the "easy route" and block all access from Thai IP addresses.

It's not limited to US websites. Occasionally appears on sites from other countries.

Multiple threads/complaints over the years here.

A VPN is an essential helper when using the internet from Thailand.

I had the same problem booking airline tickets and getting bank approval using a credit card. With a VPN and using my home country as the ISP the bank approval went through straight away without any problem.

not only thailand but majority of south east asia countries have problems with internet access, my SSA account can not access from Thailand ..... the safer way, as it was advised, is to use a VPN and it will go without a glitch, I use Express VPN for the past 6 years not a problem, maybe MOD will not let the name of the VPN thru, let's try anyway

Moving to a place where your life is not dominated by the Internet?

If you need to trash a whole country for a couple of minor issues maybe you should stay in Murka where EVERYTHING is bigglie best (or not as the case may be).
