Are there any plans to plant trees on the new widened beach? It certainly would be nice to lounge on the beach, during daylight hours, without getting sun burned and not having to pay for an umbrella to provide shade. It seems the beach chair vendors get to occupy all of the tree shaded areas on the beach.

Doubtful as to how long the "new beach" will last............

I expect no plans to plant trees, as mentioned any shade tree just coincidently happens to have deck chair and umbrella operators there already + the "new" beach won't last very long
(Unless they keep chucking lots of new sand at it constantly from now on)
