Chinese shot in KTV

A Chinese national died in Preah Sihanouk provincial hospital from the gunshot wound he sustained in KTV early Friday morning (Jan.4). The National Police identify the victim is as 23 year-old Tain Zhou.

 

Police arrived at the scene shortly after they were called.  The victim had already been sent to the hospital.  He was accompanied by 10 of his Chinese friends.

 

They were questioned and told this story: After a verbal conflict with his Chinese colleagues, Tain Zhou threatened them with his hand gun.  In an effort to disarm him a scuffle ensued, in the course of which the weapon discharged and hit the victim in the abdomen.
