Electricity pole falls on truck and car in Bangkok

A damaged car, partially burnt is parked next to electricity wires after a truck carrying a excavator (back) accidentally pulled down an electricity pole in Bangkok on Wednesday morning.

A truck carrying an excavator got tangled on over ground wires causing them to fall on top of the truck as well as a parked car.

The accident, in which no one was injured, disrupted electricity and internet services in the neighborhood for several hours.

Electricity network in many of Bangkok's areas run above ground together with telephone and internet cables, meaning that any accidents concerning electricity poles usually disrupt more than one service.
