February 22, 200719 yr Where can i do in Chiangmai ? Submit your application at Pioneer Cargo Services in Chiang Mai See here
February 22, 200719 yr The consulate in Chiang Mai is honorary and doesn't assess visa applications. Scouse.
February 22, 200719 yr "The consulate in Chiang Mai is honorary and doesn't assess visa applications." Neither does the Agency in Chiang Mai Scouser. At least it will be delivered directly to the consulate, who will then forward it on to Bangkok, as I believe they do with the passport applications. It will not incur an Agency fee either I believe.
February 22, 200719 yr If you take a visa application to the consulate in Chiang Mai you will be redirected to the offices of Pioneer Cargo Services who are the Chiang Mai GDA courier centre nominated by VFS. Neither the courier nor VFS are visa agents, nor do they assess applications. They merely accept applications and forward them to the visa section at the embassy where all decisions whether to grant a visa or not are made. See the page previously linked to by Mahout Angrit. The Hon Consul does deal with the affairs of British citizens, e.g. passport renewals, but not with visa matters. From British Consulate, Chiang Mai The Honorary Consulate does not deal with applications or enquiries concerning visas to travel to the United Kingdom.Although they do keep a stock of application forms.See also What the consul can and cannot do for you Edited February 22, 200719 yr by GU22
