Well, it's quite easy to pray. And if your praying is this effective, why haven't other big disasters been avoided? Seems someone has been lazy with their prayers.

Maybe if we all try and pray really, really hard to Phra Siamdevathiraj, he will save us from general Prayuth as well.   OK, so, together now... 1, 2, 3...

  • Yes mate, of course it was.   Thanks sooo much.

Even the gods listen to him. This infantile's ego knows no bounds eh...

King Canute had a similar idea after being told by his flattering couriers that he could control  the tides, it is irresponsible for a person of his standing to relate this kind of story.

Vanity, thy name is Prayuth, the nations biggest blouse.

And a big girls' one at that!

is this guy ok upstairs?

If we can use a marvelous Australian simile, which I heard quite recently: "There are a few kangaroos loose in the paddock."

First we get Big Joke, now we get Massive Joke.

Saint General Prayut

I'm just glad he only prayed to country's guardian spirit. If he had sung to him... catastrophe.

Awesome job, I remember he said Thai will also become the second language on the planet, when is that due to happen?

The Vaticong will mobilise its troops when he claims to be the representative of God on earth.

So why did all of those houses get flooded, and damaged if his prayers were so

powerful. Just wondering?  I am glad that there was not more damage and that the storm

has passed.

Ahhh... another non believer, in the power of his prayers.

It would have been much worse without his divine offering.

Just one word will suffice to describe him IMO:

Begins with a C and ends in a T. ????

Let's hope he gets a trouncing at the elections. Take him down a peg or two, clearly needed. He belongs on the 'funny farm'.

Divine offering? Did he need to slaughter a fatted calf (or maybe a plump DPM)?

When he says the right prayers of course.

It appears his Buddhist prayers did not spare the predominantly Muslim south!!

trouble is, there are people out there that will believe

he alone saved Thailand, its a miracle ,all hail the great leader.

Keep the masses uneducated and superstitious, reinforced by an hour's prime time TV propaganda  every evening and they are so so easy to control and manipulate.

Certainly praying hard enough every day to find a new reason to delay the election.

Making himself a clown!

I think I will send him a St Christopher Medal. As far as I am concerned St Christopher is still a saint.

Look its cheaper than spending money; if it doesn't work just blame the masses for not praying hard enough. Is he at the stage of throwing a few virgins into a volcano just as a safe guard.

Thailand was a holy land and how praying to gods could possibly save it from any harm.

If the Junta remains in power there won't be a country left to save from harm!

Nor did it save the monk from getting drunk and smashing his pickup!

“I prayed every day to Phra Siamdevathiraj,” he said, referring to the country’s supposed guardian angel. “Otherwise, it would have been even more severe. Countries affected by the storm were all harmed. Isn’t it strange that the storm just moved away from our country?”

Really people, you must re-elect me. Not only am I one of the smartest men in the world, but I also have Divine powers. All I have to do is ask, and the Universe answers. I am not a man. I am a deity. Can't you see?

This man is suffering from the kinds of delusions that come from being in power too long, and being surrounded by sycophantic souls, who accord him far too much respect and honor. He needs to get out. He is not liked. He is not wanted. He is not popular. He is despised, as well as the rest of his army. Get out now! Give your nation a break. Just once, try to be respectful to your people. Just once.

Prime Minister Gen Prayut Chan-o-cha on Thursday said Tropical Storm Pabuk’s departure out to sea was partly thanks to him praying for it to go away.

God help Thailands future with a leader like this, another crackpot dictator who thinks above his station.

Prayers will only help you and the people so far, solid well built and well maintained infrastructure is the true answer !!

Hello now pulling the Miracle Card!! Gee he is good .

Oh my... He is closer to becoming God emperor now that he believes to be in contact with higher beings....

You pray, if it works you take credit.

You pray, if it doesn't work, you say nothing.

In poker we call this a freeroll.

"Junta Crazy ?"          I rest my case your honour.

I don't know much about praying but in my dreams Prayut was a nice, fair and legally elected Leader,

then I woke up, then I realized I was only dreaming, la la la, the green green grass of home.

and the delusion goes on! we're not worthy!!!
