Facebook post: Thai woman with uterine tumor "the size of a basketball"

Sanook reported that a clinic in Nong Khai went on Facebook to warn women after they cut out a tumor in a woman's uterus that was the size of a basketball.

The tumor - that appears to have been benign - measured 20-30 cm in diameter and was reportedly cut out of a 52 year old woman at the "Dr Kittipong Clinic".

A post from the doctor reminded women to get themselves checked regularly as such tumors can affect women of any age.

There were not necessarily any symptoms other than stomach plains, small blood loss or problems going to the toilet.

But the good news was that tumors like this were not usually cancerous.

Sanook issued a nine point guide for women to follow.

Why is that tumor blurred out? Is it underage and we thus need to protect its identity?
