A Thai drug dealer has been found to be involved in the death of a boy who was attacked and killed in Khon Kaen last week.

The Immigration Bureau has reported that the boy, 17, was attacked at a school football field.

Police have arrested some suspects they believe to have been involved in the killing.

On January 20, a video clip of the attack was shared on social media.

The suspects have already confessed that a Facebook user named “Thep Solo” had hired them, police said.

The teenager was apparently killed as he had not paid for recent drug purchases, they added. Police have already identified “Thep Solo” and the drug network for further investigation.

Sad this happens all over the world as young people get killed over drugs or drug debts. I really dislike drug dealers.

not all over the world, but the unique thing in this case was that the man who wanted him dead posted on facebook saying, for whoever assaults him/kill him will get money, and it had to be filmed, so random teenagers in khon kaen saw this post and did it, there is several robberies and other brutal beatings linked to this man. the 17 year old had previously got released from juvinile detention.

Not sure why this should involve the immigration bureau other than another photo op for you know who.
