Does anybody out there know if Eliquis is available over the counter in Thailand?

It is listed in MIMS as being available but likely only in large pharmacies/hospitals. Being an import expect it to be expensive.

It is a "special controlled drug", prescription only which in Thailand means usually only hospitals carry it.

 

And yes, very expensive.

you can buy it in fascino.    5mg 60 tablets 5,388     expensive but the best blood  thinner you can get, new so no generic.  I have to take it for AF.  I take it for AF, expensive but better than a stroke

as Sheryl said it needs to be prescribed by a doctor so you get the right dose but you dont need to get it at the hospital where is it more expense, you can get at fascino without prescription as a cost savings alternative.  I buy all my medicine there

I`m on Eliquis 5mg (also known as Apixaban). One thing to note is that a dentist might refuse to extract a tooth because of the blood element. My dentist refused to extract and has referred me to a specialist hospital here in Scotland (I`m on 3 months Scotland, 3 months Thailand). Unfortunately there`s a waiting list of over a year. I`m hoping, however, if pain I could get an emergency appointment.

my dentist made me stop taking it for a few days and then all good.

  good dentist in jomtien, no problems

Today i made an order Pharmazy in Pattaya. ELIQUIS 5mg 30 tabl . 4'900 Baht!!!
