Smartheart Gold Dog food vs GM Turbo vs F1 dog food.....What have been your experiences?

Has anyone used any of these dog food brands long term?  What have been your experiences?(In terms of digestion, odor from faces, dog's skin etc)

 Smartheart appears to have improved its formula for the 'Smartheartgold' line. GM and F1 seem to have decent ingredients also but seem to be made by much smaller companies and some of the formulas have pretty high protein and fat contents(seems like too much especially for herding breeds). I'd appreciate any input from people who have used any of these brands. I have one friend that feeds regular smartheart with raw in the evenings, I can't tell if it's the raw or the smartheart that's keeping the dog in good shape.
