Please please, Pochahontas, go for it. Run run run.

Yeah, we all need some entertainment, and her up against Trump ( or any GOP candidate ) would be HUGEly entertaining.

Of course saying Indian is very passe. I'm not up on the P.C. stuff like that but it seems to me indigenous and/or the Canadian First Nations is better than either Indian or Native American.

Someone who definitely has sangre de indio (as they call it in Latin America) is AOC.  (Take my word for it, I spent a good part of my youth having as much physical contact with Puerto Rican womens' bodies as possible.  )  I've been expecting her to have something to say on this subject, and Liz's situation.

As I've been saying all along I don't think Liz is presidential material but she would be great at Mitch McConnell's job.

Nope.

Native Americans are decendents of Asians who walked to Alaska.

No. Native Americans are persons native to America. (ie. bascially anyone born there)

You are referring to an ethnic or racial group known as American Indians.

Said all the "trump" fans!

Not so. I say it because I don't like her and I want to see her humiliated in front of the world. Nothing to do with my opinion of Trump.

They have a wealth of people who must go to extreme leftist socialist policies and must have a certain identity based on a genetic or racial facade that is approved by the progressive liberal hive. Common sense need not apply.

Wrong, the origin of people who migrated to the Americas are from the Asian continent. It really is that simple

To her credit the 'Indian' addition seemed to be an afterthought.  Her use of words to linespace is less than ideal.

Rubbish there is not enough space I have done that zillions of times. You write the first word then realize and squeeze in the second.  "to her credit"  ????

Is there any other country asking for 'race' in forms???

To be fair, she clearly believed that she had American Indian ancestry - otherwise she would not have had a DNA test.

Presumably her parents were 'economical with the truth' when talking to her about her ancestry?

I'm not buying that. Her parents told her she had some kind vague relative that was a native. So that makes her a tribe member? Nu uh. She's about as Native American as Paul Ryan is a Jew.

I get why she did it. I seriously doubt it was an intentional scam to getting special treatment as a minority. I think she did it because she was a fool and identified as something she was not because it seemed really cool. Native Americans aside from the racist sports team chants are often very romanticized in American culture. I've met many Americans that brag to me about having some Native blood and by the look of them their claims are as dubious as Warrens'. I've also met people claiming they had relatives on the Mayflower. The claim of connection to natives is much, much cooler. Unless you're running for president and there isn't much to it.

If you want to go back far enough, we all came from an area in Africa, so we are all Africans. Liz should have called herself African, as that is true for all of us.

New Zealand differentiates between races, so there must be a form somewhere on which to describe race. I believe it may be on the census form.

I think a number of countries probably do. Doesn't Malaysia? There they have different laws if you're Malay so they would need to know.

Sad she did do a lot of good in protecting people from predatory lending and giving voice to people against large corporations

It was exactly that sort of rhetoric " you did not build that " by her an Obama that led to the only presidency NEVER to have at least a 3% GDP growth once and that was coming from a low point.  Perhaps people don't understand large companies are owned by people.  It is their 401(k) and pension plans that buy stock and rooting for them to lose is shooting yourself.  Second, it is the companies that provide jobs.  Again rooting for them to lose is essentially rooting against the average American worker.  Did Trump have something to do with the recovery.  Yes with the tax cut.  However the economy in the USA right now is the best in decades and it has far more to do with Obama and his anti-business tax and regulations policy than it does with policies Trump has put into play.  I truly don't understand Liberals who cheer when businesses are villianized and hope they suffer. Who do you think will pay the price for imposing more taxes on them.  It is the consumer.  And if they fail, it is the workers not the executives on the unemployment line.
