A Burmese worker was killed when his truck collided with the rear of a trailer truck on the Kanchanapisek elevated expressway in Bangkok on Thursday, police said.

Police said the accident happened at 11am at the 9+400 marker between the Phra Pradaeng and Bang Khun Thian gates.

Police said the unidentified worker was in the front passenger seat of the truck.

The driver and another worker were injured and treated at Bang Pakok 3 Hospital.

The trailer truck driver was not injured. Police took him for questioning and said they would check security cameras to determine responsibility for the accident.
