I'm travelling by myself so I want to avoid staying in the seedier parts of town but still want somewhere reasonably cheap (under 500) and central, preferably with a backpacker vibe. I'm thinking of staying at Asha Guesthous at 4 Intamara, 3 Suttisarn Rd, Phayathai. Has anyone had any experience of that place? Whats the area like? Is is fairly close to the Grand palace?
