A dog owner thought it would be a great idea to dye her Pomeranian another color.

"Diffy" looked so cute in another shade of orange and the shop that did the procedure assured them that his ears would perk up soon.

They were drooping at the time.

But things did not improve for the adorable pooch. The ears started getting itchy, then inflamed, then they turned black and all crispy.

Finally one has fallen off altogether.

The owner blames themselves not the shop and has warned other people on the "Khrong Pheuan Khang Thanon" site not to dye their dogs.

Poms make the best pets and inside the home watchdogs.  This one needs a new owner...one with at least half a brain...

Poor little guy ????

I hope he makes a good recovery and his other ear heals ok.

Seeing as it's no longer Na Rak, it will end up in the temple with all the other no longer Na Rak dogs!

Seems to have the same attributes as Van Gogh.

Good thing though - tell him something and it will go in one ear and stay there.

I'm sorry, but I burst out laughing when I read this. And then the hand holding the dead ear; hilarious. The look on that dog's face didn't help.

You must be able to buy a spray for them from Big C?  We have two next door they are  constantly yapping their stupid heads off at all times of the day and night.  They are an irritating  menace.  I have no problem with the barking of real dogs, but I do have with the sound of these little rat like apologies for a dog.

My friend had a few chihuahuas. One night over a few beers at his place a stray wandered in. Quite a large dog. It didn't stand a chance. The little fellas worked as a team and drove him out. No blood on either side drawn, but they just ran in and out nipping and running away. Big dog didn't now where to turn.It was fascinating to watch.

I've had Jack Russells do a similar thing with large snakes....but they kill it. Nasty little buggers when they get going. Absolute blood bath if they come across a mouse or rats nest.

Chihuahuas are absolutely relentless and they do seem to not know (or care)  they are small.

Mine will not hesitate to go up against a huge dog. And more often than not it's the large dog that turns tail and runs.

sure, and I wonder what the owner said next? Maybe, 'can we glue it back on?'

Make it wear a hat everywhere

Now "Diffy" is no longer cute and will be thrown out to the other soi dogs.
The famely will go to the local market and buy a new "Diffy" ....

Hope they will use different color-type next time.....

Probably not... Next time, maybe they should test the color on their own hair first...

Or some of those stick-on ears you see on some motorcycle helmets.

I remember back in the UK, a guy who glued an off-cut of brown shag-pile carpet on his helmet.

He was constantly being stopped by the police, who thought they'd caught someone riding without a helmet.

Lol. Ya, if your a teenage girl.

These “dogs” (if I must call them that), are ugly and annoying as hell.

I dont know why anyone wants a fluffy rat in their house.

What are you going on about?

Personally, I'm very grateful that when I go to bed that one of my dogs barks aggressively whenever anyone comes near our house.

You are seriously concerned about whether a dog is 'pretty'?

I think alarm dogs is a better term.

My wife has one. Nice little fella. look you car stroke him if you wish. Now isn't that nice? Now try and pick him up !!

Most reported dog bites in hospitals are from small dogs. I am a short ass myself and your knees are in some serious trouble if you mess about with me!

They can be somewhat, er, difficult. Ours are well socialised with multiple kids and adult visitors (scratch their ears and they both love you forever), other dogs and cats are a whole new ball game.

Now, try to give Mr Punch a pill ...

(yes, his sister is Judy of course)
