Is there a generic equivalent of the attached Chiang Mai passport transfer form I could use at Nonthaburi Immigration?

You will have to go in person to your immigration office with both passports and they will do it there.....pick up the day after :thumbsup:

Pardon my ignorance; but what is the reason for doing this other than not to carry two passports for the remainder of the visa validity?

Doesn't it just fill up your passport?

Depends on whether you have a visa or an extension of stay.

Visa, use two passports.

Ex' of stay, easy to get it transferred to new passport.
