Thai cueist triumphant in snooker "Shoot-Out"

Thailand's Thepchaiya Un-nooh won his maiden ranking title in the snooker "Shoot-Out" in Watford in England on Sunday.

The fastest player on the professional snooker circuit relished the format for the event that emphasized a cool head and fast shot making.

He scored a record 139 in the semi-finals before making short work of Michael Holt in the final that didn't even need the ten minutes set aside.

Thepchaiya took home 32,000 pounds (about 1.4 million baht) and qualified for a host of other events due to the victory, the best of his career.

Good on ya young feller. Keep it up.

Yea, man keep it up....

Watched the semi final and the final he killed the chances of his opponets in both games. I have watched and followed his career for a number of years always on the edge but cannot seemto get over that final hump. Maybe this win will give him the confidence he need to break thru

Great snooker and fast enough to prevent boredom

First class performance, He will do well in the future.
