thairick Posted March 6, 2019 Share Posted March 6, 2019 ok guys,thanks for the info on 90 day reporting,all of you are correct.we live in mae rim ( chaing mai ) we are going to laos and will be doing a land border crossing,back to thailand,can we do our passport update (24 hr.) in chaing rai or do we have to come back to chaing mai to do it. means we will be 3 or 4 days overdue. many thanks rick. NotEinstein Posted March 6, 2019 Share Posted March 6, 2019 If it takes you 3 or 4 days to get back to Chiang Mai, you will surely stay somewhere on the way, that SHOULD report your presence. That being said, you have a week or so to report a return from outside the country, but it needs to be in Chiang Mai Immigration, as that is where you live.
