Google Adds stealing money??

Featured Replies

3,500 baht was deducted from the wife's account just now, in what appears to be fraudulent transactions labeled "Google Target" and "Google Service".

Have this happen to anyone else and what are the chances of getting the money back?

We have contacted Kasikorn Bank and submitted a claim form, so there might be hope.

The wife have previously use the same card for purchased on Shopee, so it could be a hack on their site.

This is very unlikely to be Google stealing anything. It is much more likely to be someone fraudulently using your account details to pay for their own purchases from the Google Play Store, or Google Target, or some other Google-run service.

Maybe a rogue app got installed on the phone....or someone pressing buttons without reading/understanding what they do ?
