Resorts start rolling in own water tankers as Phuket dry spell continues

PHUKET: A leading figure in Phuket’s hotel industry in has confirmed that hotels and resorts across the island are starting to feel the effects of low water pressure in their mains water supply, which is forcing some hoteliers to arrange their own water supplies to ensure guests are not affected.

Faichai Intersection underpass to be completed in eight months: BMA

CHICAGO (Reuters) - Television actor Jussie Smollett, arrested last month on a single charge of perpetrating a hate-crime hoax, has been newly indicted on 16 felony counts of falsely reporting to police that he was assaulted by two strangers shouting racist and homophobic slurs.

LONDON (Reuters) - Campaigners for gender equality took to European city streets on Friday to mark International Women's Day with celebrations and protests, while in Turkey police fired tear gas to break up a crowd of several thousand women in Istanbul in the evening.
