Coming Back with a New Passport & Extension in Old Passport

Hello,

 

I ham under a Non-O Thai Wife 1 year extension with multiple entry permit and am planning to come back to Thailand with my brand new passport that I will be collecting back home.

 

I would like to know the process of transferring all the stamps from my old to new passport when at BKK airport? How is it done? Or is the process different?

You will need to show both passports to use your re-entry permit in the old one. They will do a annotation about it in your new passport and then stamp you into the country in it.

Then you you will need to to immigration to have the stamp transfer completed so that you can apply for your next extension.

Just to be clear - My extension of stay is valid until Feb 10, 2020. Will the Extension of Stay Stamp Transfer be the same expiry date?

How fast do I need to go to the immigration after arrival?

No change to the extension date. It will be the same as the one you have now.
