2 things. Firstly that the motion may not be presented next week. And secondly that if it is presented prior to April 12 it will be close to the deadline.

Hard Brexiteers don't care about any of that. They have already shown they are prepared to throw the N.Ireland Peace Agreement on to the bonfire, so why not Scotland?

For once I have to agree with you. As that is the proceedure as dictated by the Bureaucrats in Brussels and the British establishment. Which as we are now witnessing,overrides the Democratic decision of the British people.

It never ceases to amaze me that some in Scotland would prefer to be ruled by an EU superstate. Scotland had its' own referendum in 2014 and decided to stay in the UK. See youse all wi us for the long ride JImmy.

The rest of UK would be more prosperous too, without all the Scots freebies, benefits dependency and disproportionately high number of MPs in the real parliament.
Did you try to overturn the result of the 2014 referendum too? I think I can see a trend developing here.

One reason Scotland is happy in the EU is people there are much better educated. Another is they don't have the anti EU right wing press we do. Scottish papers are much more balanced.

The proof is in the pudding..go and live in both Govanhill and Pollokshields, both areas in Glasgow for a few weeks then come back and tell me how you get on.!!!

Last time I was in Glasgow, we took a walk round the Gorbals. Didn't hear a Scottish accent all the time we were there. Unbelievable
