Crossy Posted March 4, 2007 Posted March 4, 2007 Being a poor consultant and only having a lowly Ford Ranger (with the mp3 player). I record "Steve Wright in the Afternoon" off BBC Radio 2 using ReplayAV. Burn it to CD and listen to it in the traffic on the way to the office next morning. Oddly enough the traffic flashes fit quite well (slow queues). "I don't want to know why you can't. I want to know how you can!"
Tony Clifton Posted March 4, 2007 Posted March 4, 2007 I listen to Coast to Coast AM, some interesting scientific stuff, some funny or interesting conspiracy theories, some lunatics calling in. I download the mp3s and burn. When not listening to that, it's Lukthung or Morlam.
fxm88 Posted March 4, 2007 Posted March 4, 2007 Sirius satellite. Sirius is available in Thailand?! Aewsome! (I didn't think their satellites made it over this far!)
Firefan Posted March 4, 2007 Posted March 4, 2007 I have been planning for a while to burn the "ultimate" car driving CD - will get to it soon I hope! Cheers!
madjbs Posted March 4, 2007 Posted March 4, 2007 I like to play computer games on my laptop while driving on the expressway, its abit more dificult when driving on a frontage road though because I cant devote all my attention to the game.
The Dan Sai Kid Posted March 4, 2007 Posted March 4, 2007 I have an i-pod connected to a FM transmitter
Cuban Posted March 4, 2007 Posted March 4, 2007 Just added "180 CC" by THC to the MP3 player, ideal for cruzin' the low Sois wherever you are !

MiG16 Posted March 6, 2007 Posted March 6, 2007 no car so am at the mercy of taxi/bus driver and their mood of lukthung.......plus a lot of jor.sor.100 and another bkk traffic channel strange news you hear on these radio channels
Cuban Posted March 7, 2007 Posted March 7, 2007 I remember a BKK taxi that wanted more than the basic AM/FM radio fitted to the car, so he had a computer IDE CD-ROM drive strapped to the top of the dash used to play CDs, the audio out was wired into the radio through a small drilled hole.
Jim's_a_Thai_Fox Posted March 7, 2007 Posted March 7, 2007 Got to be 'The Beatles, The Blue album' for me - doubt a I shall hear a better album in this lifetime... (it got my TGF asking about 'walruses', 'egg men' and the likes - fab!) On a side note, I heard that you can buy a wire that goes from your iPod into an Auxiliary socket (not the fag lighter) - anyone have one? Are they easy to get? Maybe 'The Dai San Kid' might help as he mentioned an iPod? Cheers
Firefan Posted March 8, 2007 Posted March 8, 2007 Need some artistic picture like the one I have - rather than just his ugly mug! Staying on the subject the Casino Royale theme song "You know my name" would certainly fit on my "ultimate drving CD" for the more spirited driving! The MP3 FM transmitter is a cool tool to get MP3 in the car without having to change the center module - which one you got? How much? And how is the actual reception as heard that in the city with very busy FM waves the signal can be disturbed by "real" radio. Cheers! I have been planning for a while to burn the "ultimate" car driving CD - will get to it soon I hope! Cheers! When will you be putting Daniel Craig on your avatar?
