Someone was asking about beetroot a while ago .. Went to makro today and brought fresh beetroot . They were about 300 grams each in weight  .They also had parsnip and salad onions. 

 

If they were that big,they will be as hard as the hobs of hell,

the big ones get woody.

    Be careful, most beetroots are GMO. Is that possibly why they are so big I wonder?

    Hi,

    I put in beetroot in the oven with olive oil and thyme and foil on top and baked for 45 minutes.

    Cool them and the were great ..
