LONDON (Reuters) - WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange was arrested by British police and carried out of the Ecuadorean embassy on Thursday after his South American hosts abruptly revoked his seven-year asylum, paving the way for his possible extradition to the United States.

Thousands clear city as 7 Dangerous Days begin

Bangkok bus terminals see increasing crowds of people leaving the capital for the provinces to celebrate the traditional Songkran New Year this weekend.

 

AIRPORTS, ROADS and border checkpoints were clogged yesterday as hundreds of thousands of people began leaving Bangkok for Songkran holidays, thinking in vain that they would be avoiding heavy traffic.

North smog to worsen on first day of Songkran

No charge for Decha over marijuana possession

Excise revenue reaches THB 280 billion in first half of 2019 fiscal year

BANGKOK, 12 April 2019 (NNT) –The Excise Department’s tax revenue collection for the first half of fiscal 2019, from October 2018 to March 2019, was 7.62 percent higher year-on-year. The revenue mostly came from taxes on fuel, cars, beer, liquor, and tobacco products.

Bangkok bus fares to increase on 22nd April

Temperatures reach 42°C in Tak and Lampang
