A TNA reporter captured the fun at the Songkran celebration in Khao San Road last night as Thais and foreigners joined in the joyous celebration.

Kamonnet Nuanjan - complete with microphone in plastic - worked her way through Khao San Road as she got soaked and covered in powder along with everyone else.

One man in red by the side of the road said it was great fun this year, safe and with no arguments. He urged people to come on down.

Other Thais offered tourists a chance to top up their guns for 5 baht.

Foreigners gave the thumbs up.

It was the last chance to enjoy the festivities.

Daily News reported that things were lively in both Khao San and Silom Road.

Chana Songkram police in the Khao San Road area had done a good job of ensuring the safety of participants, they said.

No much interest from readers about these positive songkran stories.

I find that a little weird.
