I bought a lotto ticket and I'm not sure if I won something. These numbers on the left, up the top and in the middle. I don't understand how it works, can someone explain it to me!

 

Even the lotto results don't make sense. I'm use to picking 6 numbers and a sub!

556968 is the main lottery number.

The last two digits 68 is where the prize starts.

 

If you go to kapook and enter that 6 digit number it will check the combinations for you as there are various prizes for different variations.

 that green ticket  looks like  you have 2 ticket set and 12 million top prize.

Tickets can be bought in sets not just individually and it multiplies the winnings.

I won the Lottery. OK it was the smallest pay out. I had two tickets with the final digits 23, which generated a grand total of Baht 4000.  That covers what I spent on tickets only for the past 10 months. Still, I've read posts that say farang never win or can't win. I guess you could call this winning.

Pretty sure the sellers do that to avoid the rule that individual tickets should be sold for Baht 80.

 

If they bundle them in multiples they seem to be free to sell them at Baht 90 or Baht 100 ... e.g. two tickets stapled together seem to go for Baht 200. 

 

If the multiples remain unsold they break them up and sell as singles just before the drawing.

Everybody can do, only one difference, your thai wife for example gets approx. 100 baht more than you when claim winning number.

Anyone can play and claim winnings for the lottery. Thai nationals pay slightly less tax on the larger amounts if you won the jackpot etc.

Must be one of the worst odds ever . In 11 years I have won nothing spending around 1000bht per time .
