Has anyone shiped a computer to Thailand, how did you do it, did you get nailed with tax, if so what % was it?

i was under the impression that it wasn't so much the official tax as the "tea money" that could rise to ridiculous amounts that you have to pay the "official" to get what you own anyway

The actual tax rate should be 30% of the total or about $16. You could get hit with about anything or nothing, its always a roll of the dice. Send it by mail and you should be all right.
