Hello,

 

Which bank would you recommend for a corporate account? I'm using Bangkok bank for the last few months since opening a company and I'm looking for an alternative. It would be great to have a credit card as well.

 

Also, does anyone know which Thai bank has integration with Xero? accounting software

Contact Xero direct - have found them very helpful 

@JoePai What is Xero direct? if you mean to contact Xero directly I tried to find contact information on their page regarding general inquiries but I could only find media contact. Can you share how did you contact Xero directly? Kind thanks!

I called them in NZ where I think they are based

I have used 4 different banks for my businesses over a 29 year period which have inflows & outflows.

My advice,,, bite the bullet & work with BKB. Once they know you you will be fine

The bad news is, that all local banks are somewhere between very bad and unbearable. Go into any bank and if the service during account opening works - you might be in luck. If you're at it, check internet banking as well as foreign currency account possibilities (later also on internet banking).

 

Bangkok Bank has all those facilities - yet it is a stony steep way along countless idiots lacking common sense in blue uniforms to the summit. 

On that note; never close a bank account but just run the balance to Zero, shred the bank book and the ATM card and that's it.
