Ho Chi Minh City marriage visa processing time

Recommended Posts

I will go to HMC to do my first marriage visa with my wife. Because we will get there on a thursday afternoon, I guess I will have to apply on a friday.

Can I go spend the weekend somewhere like Ho Coc Beach and then come back and pick it up next monday afternoon? If for some reason I miss that day can I get it on tuesday?

Also I would like to confirm the requirement for Non-Immigrant multiple entry visa:

  1. My passport.
  2. 1 picture (4X6) of me.
  3. Marriage visa original + 1 copy.
  4. 1 guarantee letter from my wife? (Not sure what this is...).
  5. 1 certified and signed copy of my wife Thai ID card front and back.
  6. 1 certified and signed copy of my wife tambien baan.
  7. 5,000 thai baht.

Does my wife certified documents has to be certified at Bangkok ministry of foreign affair or it can be done in HMC?

Thanks!

I assume you will be applying for a multiple entry non-o visa based upon marriage since a marriage visa does not exist.

1. Also a copy of the photo page of it.

2. The visa application form requires one 3.5 X 4.5 cm photo attached. HCMC visa application form.pdf

3 . Marriage certificate. Original plus a copy.

4. Just a short note requesting they issue the visa signed by her.

5/6 Certified means signed by her.

7. $200 US for a multiple entry visa there. They do not accept baht.

Fees and requirements are here. http://www.thaiembassy.org/hochiminh/en/services/2886/46902-Non-Immigrant-Visa-"O"---Accompanying-Th.html
