I got a dui in esan during NYE 2017-2018. I was arrested fingerprinted posted bail went to court paid my fine got my bail money back. When I came back to country and got my current non b visa they just wanted a background check from my home country. To renew I need a Thai police background check. Is my dui going to prevent me from renewing the visa? 

 

      If it's for a teaching position, it could be a problem, of course depending on the officer who does the application.

A police clearance is only needed to apply for a non-b visa based upon teaching at a embassy or consulate.

If you are on a extension of stay based upon teaching issued by immigration it is not required.
