They've taken a lesson from the west, who will eventually have the entire developing world paying for their once free drinking water because of IMF and World Bank shenanigans for the benefit of multi-national corporations.

 

The best way to stand up to China is to play the "Pattaya" card put it out of bounds to the holiday hordes from the north until the Chinese realize they must bow down to the "Special One" if life they know it is to continue. Bit of a risk for Tiffany's and others on the circuit but hey ho.
