lol you just described the current president almost to a t. i gotta say i am not even a woman but i do get this sort of "women not getting the spotlight" point that has been brought up. more and more i see this as very true

The difference is the under the current president everybody's retirement funds went up. Klobuchar has nothing going for her. Unless you like somebody that throws you under the bus when to do so Is politically expedient.

Joe Biden in particular is going to have a tough time to prove his relevance as he has been out of office for years. He is also going to have a fundraising shortfall as there are 20 people running now.

I give Biden a bit of respect as he is the one that managed to get gay marriage through. I remember the days in California back in the day when prop 8 or whatever passed against gay people because of the above average turn out. This delayed gay rights be maybe two years.

Very powerful opening statement video! He's going to be hard to beat. Who should he pick for VP? Stacy Abrams?     Sent from my Lenovo A7020a48 using Thailand Forum - Thaivisa mobile app

Amy would be happy that people are even till talking about her. I like Amy but she needs one heck of a breakout moment to have a chance.

You can smell the FEAR coming from "trump" fan planet about running against Joe Biden.

Hes also simply just your basic everyday slime ball politician.

Heather Heyer’s Mom Breaks Silence on Joe Biden Invoking Charlottesville for 2020

Quote

Joe Biden did not tell Susan Bro, Heather Heyer’s mother, that he would be invoking her daughter’s murder in Charlottesville in August 2017 in his presidential campaign launch video focusing on “the battle for the soul” of America.

“But I wasn’t surprised,” Bro, co-founder of the Heather Heyer Foundation set up in her daughter’s memory, told The Daily Beast. “Most people do that sort of thing. They capitalize on whatever situation is handy. He didn’t reach out to me, and didn’t mention her by name specifically, and he probably knew we don’t endorse candidates.”

More like anger that his campaign kickoff video was based on a lie blatant lie & smear, but Creepy Joe knows that, and so does everyone else, and if he wants to get on Trumps level then so be it. Its a loser. Biden is an out of touch geriatric.

I only care (Biden) because he steered the course of federal laws which allows gays to marry. So I did just that and live in the USA now with my husband who is a legal immigrant and will be a citizen soon. I used to like Obama but just coming back to the USA recently he is actually one of the worst presidents one recent history..]

This retarded notion that you can just turn things around and reclaim words and declare things off limits is why you will not go very far. You wanted Klobuchar to begin with. The conservatives are saying bring it.

One percent Joe is down the corner doing fundraising dinners in Pittsburgh tonight as I type this. The money will be split too many times to mount the traditional CNN blitz.

But it wasn't based on a lie and a smear. The "trump" brand is xenophobic white nationalism. End of.

I have no idea what you're talking about now. Are you trying to shame me because I like Amy Klobuchar and now realize she has almost no chance? BIZARRE.

Just making sure it is noted that she was your first pick. Who is it now?

Historians have a consensus that Obama will be in the upper tier of presidents and overwhelmingly are saying (though way early) that "trump" will be at the very bottom (obviously).

Beating "trump" trumps everything else and for now it seems to me Biden has the best chance to do that. That was a big reason that I liked Klobuchar before, her record in creaming the orange one in very red districts of her state. I agree with Biden's opening statement. This is an emergency -- beat "trump" or else. I don't see him as a normal bad president or a normal bad republican. He's a white nationalist authoritarian and he's turning the USA into a banana republic.

Tulsi Gabbard seems to be the intelligent choice. I guess the is why the Dems keep pretending she doesn't exist.

This is what I just cant grasp about politics. Its either one extreme or the other. You'd think that finding a charismatic actual centrist to fully fund would be easy. Someone that wants to free people up without taking something from others. Gay Marriage, legalize prostitution, legalize recreational drugs and expunge records, low taxes, capitalism with a strong safety net, stay away from the topic of guns, keep free speech free.

It forces people to take their most core beliefs and vote for those. For me its illegal immigration, taxes, and the second amendment, and the Dems are wholly, openly, and vehemently against all of that.

Sounds like lame hit piece. A big nothing. The ad and the theme was no specifically about her as a victim. It's absurd to suggest that.

I live in the 'today and now' I don't care about historians and their thoughts years from now. It is very easy forepeople like you that don't pay taxes to want medical care and a higher income. My generation has to deal with what that would mean for us. I understand if you don't care because it would benefit you.

However a move towards a socialist state would not benefit me at all or ever. So you are asking me to pay for your lifestyle and healthcare. You are so flippant at times the urge is to simply say no. If you propose a carbon tax your entire pension needs to be taxed. You people are so smug when you propose such hikes but pay literally nothing in to the system.

You should volunteer 70%of your SS as you are amongst the top 10% in the world. Yet you just want to tax the young to compensate for your bad decisions in life.

This is why no younger people want to be forced to pay into healthcare. It is a why to extract money from the young to make it compulsory and won't be around when I need it.

Strangely specific. Otherwise bait ignored.

Ok.

Actually yes they are.

It is broader than that. You would like basic healthcare to come home to. I am young and pay privately for my own healthcare. So you want me to suffer to subsidize your standard of health. I am not likely gain much at my age for paying more tax and going into debt for how many trillions.

Your agenda differs from mine. It doesn't make you a bad kid but I really don't feel like subsidizing dentures for every baby boomer. Your generation carries a lot of assumptions about what the next generation is willing to do to make sure you have an ever increasing lifespan.

If the tax laws change it would be me subsidizing you and there is very little doubt about that.

The "trump" response to Charlottesville was objectively as DARK as the Biden ad describes. That's my POV and that's the POV of the people in the U.S. that aren't infected with "trump" fandom. Deal with it. Not everything thinks like you do.

Perhaps live in and participate in the country you claim to love? Don't expect younger people like me to make up for your shortcomings. There are a lot of baby boomers.
