Are original docs required again for ext of stay based on marriage?

Featured Replies

I've misplaced the key to my safety deposit box at the bank. It has most of my original documents. They said its 6000 to replace the key.

A year ago I successfully applied for an ext of stay based on marriage. I have to go through all this again mid May.

Would I have to show originals of everything again? Or just 2 copies of everything? I scanned all docs and emailed to myself and thus can just print them...

Can I confirm that this is what I need:

1. Copies of all pages of passport OR only photo and visa pages?

2. Copy of marriage certificate?

3. Do I need a current certficate from the amphur confirming we are still married? Cant remember what this is called

4. Copy of wifes id card

5. Copy of 10 yr lease on our building

6. copy of blue book

7. copy of my yellow book?

8. copy of babies birth certificate?

9. photos of us in the residence

Is that it? Any opinions are appreciated

The requirements differ from office to office. You have to ask yours what they need.

1) you forgot bank book and bank letter in order to prove meeting the financial requirements.
2) Jomtien immigration requests originals of almost everything, copies only not accepted.
3) not sure you need a witness? Not having a (joint) child makes a witness (neighbour) a must in Jomtien, including pictures with the witness
4) Jomtien requires a up to date marriage certificate (khor ror 3)

Good luck
