At the scene the team found two motorbikes; a Honda Wave and a Honda Dream that had smashed into a pickup truck. At the scene was the body of Mr. Chanawat Saiboonmee, aged 52, who died on the spot and Miss Amporn Suamuang, aged 24 who was injured and was taken to the hospital for immediate treatment. Miss Sudthida, aged 32, the driver of the Honda Wave, told the police that she came riding from Sukhumvit Road with her little sister heading for the beach. When they arrived at the scene, the deceased man’s bike drove from the same lane but crossed to the other lane to make a U-Turn right in front of her. It was too close and she couldn’t brake in time, which made her run right into the man’s bike which pushed into the pickup truck parked beside the road – causing her sister injuries and the man’s death.
