Does anyone have recent experience obtaining a residence certificate from either Mae Sai immigration or the one in Central? I will need to renew my license without much time to spare before renting a car, so I'm trying to be as efficient as possible. I have never used either immigration office previously so I'm not sure which one would be best for me to go to, since I'll be about halfway between the city and Mae Sai.
Thanks!
Frustrating and very stupid. What about the drivers? It is all about educating people when they are in the 6th grade. Then, continuing until they reach driving age. Add, the engineering of the roadways.
The Cops could do more, but can only do so much the Thai drivers are totally uneducated about safe driving. I bet many of thee accidents are follwing too closely and running red lights. Following someone at 1 metere while driving 120 is a death trap they are so clueless. Sadly, I doubt it will ever change I just stay to the left and driver very cautiously.
When did I say that there is a guarantee? Like all investments with high potential for gain, there is a risk of losing. It all depends when you step in and when you want out. And by the way, real estate can lead to losses too. I simply said that your answer "invest in gold" is not a way to make money, which is what the person you were replying to wanted. But we are beating a dead horse, goodbye.
