Can I stay in Thailand up to 360 days in Thailand with a triple tourist visa ?

Here's how I reckon : 1st entry 60 days, then extension 30 days

2nd entry 60 days, then extension 30 days

3rd entry 60 days, then extension 30 days.

Then 3 consecutive 30 day stamps by doing a borderrun, which makes a total of (about) 360 days. Correct ?

Minus the few days they take off at each entry ...pretty much adds to up around 358-360 days

If the triple entry tourist visa is valid 6 months or more then it should 'work'

This is the reason (I think) why these days it looks like only single entries are issued.....

Don't forget that your last entry must be made within the validity of your visa which will be 6 months from the date of issue. So you may need to make your border run just before your second 60+30 actually expires.

SHOULD be no problem getting and using a one-way if you have a visa. Check the prices though, sometimes a good deal on a return (of which you don't use one leg) can prove cheaper.

It works. Did it last year and got my new triple-tv last month in germany.

But be carefull: you must reenter thailand for the third time at least one day BEFORE the date that is on the stamp of the password. The officier at the Mae Hong Son immigration told me that the expiration is the first date where this visa is not valid anymore.

So better be safe then sorry.

This is useful information. I've never pushed it this close but the visa does say 'Must enter before' so the above is a reasonable interpretation

Thanks Crossy! It is a bummer that I cannot get another non imm.type O like last year,even from

the most liberal consuls (Denver and Houston)..I hope I can squeak out 360 days from my triple entry

There’s simply no way to do that. The last entry into Thailand must be made within 6 months (some consulates may use 180 days) from the date of issue of the visa.
