BREAKING NEWS British lawyer latest to fall in Laos alcohol poisoning tragedy
You never know. The profits are huge. It may not be the proprietor, but the distributor/deliveryman bringing you cases of counterfeit rotgut that then gets served. Possibly, one of your barbacks is slipped some money to not look at the labels too closely. And for anyone who thinks the criminals can't do their own labels and capping on bottles to look like brand new hooch... We've all likely been served fake booze somewhere or other, luckily, most of them just use crap ethanyl and not added methanyl. -

Elderly British Man Injured in Electric Tricycle Crash in Pattaya
The fact that he was going much slower than say a motorcycle would have been did not help. Can't recall for sure but I think the guy had a right of way, but nobody knows what that is, or think they all got it. No worse than the samlor, food cart type vehicles, all trying to get across too. Those who are being critical of those riding these mobility scooter also commonly complain of the speeds at which they travel around...... they accuse these guys of being 'reckless'.. ... Which is odd giving the limited speeds of the vehicles. I think for what ever reasons... some guys just pick up on an issue, make it worse in their mind, start complaining about it, then lock it down & double down and it becomes a permanently unhinged gripe that is devoid of any balance and bigger picture thinking... .... they just want to find a way of complaining about their fellow expat instead of trying to understand and support them - it speaks of an underlying nastiness. -

Tea lovers, help me
you are very lucky to find loose leaf tea.....recently i noticed how difficult it is to get Lipton loose leaf ( or t bag) a million coffee products but alas Thais do not understand tea - thai tea is a milky affair. Only product is dimar tea which is not very good but better than nothing .Nowadays you have to buy it online - no point going to the local supermarkets or 7/11,big c , makro, lotus. Tea the most popular drink in UK. barely given a second look by the stockists of thai stores ..yet Vietnam is awash with the stuff mostly green tea.Lastly one is required to stir one's tea in the same direction as the earth spins, for a truly perfect cuppa -
