Thailand officially entered the rainy season on Monday, even as Nakhon Ratchasima noted its “still-critical” drought situation with five dams and 23 medium-sized reservoirs holding only approximately 30 per cent of their water capacity, while 52 villages in nine districts were short of water for consumption and use.

Activists call for an end to statelessness, urge agencies to end double standards

Pheu Thai party gives up demand for PM post and all political pre-conditions

Man drowns while catching fish in Krabi temple lagoon

A man has drowned in a lagoon while he was trying to catch fish inside an animal sanctuary area adjacent to a Krabi temple. Mueang Krabi Police were notified of the incident at the Kowaram Temple in Mueang Krabi District at 5.30pm yesterday.
