My marriage visa extension ends on July 25. If I deposit 400,000 THB into a thai bank account by tomorrow (May 25) would I be able extend my visa if I go to the immigration office on July 25. If not, is it possible for me to use the proof of income method? I don't have a 12 month record of deposits, but I am legally employed with a work permit making over 65,000THB per month. Is there something my employer can provide that will serve as proof of income? I am aware that I can ask for a business visa but my employer will not cover the expense so I would like to leave that as a last resort.

If you put 400k baht in the bank today you could apply for the extension on July 25th.

If you can show a income from working of 40k baht or more for at least 2 or 3 months you can use that to apply for your extension. You will need a copy of your work permit and tax payment receipts for the proof.
