Hi all, not my first post but new account as cannot access old email.

I was just reading a thread about deaf street traders on here. It’s an old thread which I cannot reply to.

I want/need to learn thai sign language. After much research  not getting very far. I’m back in the UK for a few months so was looking to learn online until I’m back in bkk. Anyone have any ideas???

Regards,

mark

'Thai sign language' is ภาษามือไทย in Thai. You could try Googling that for useful info and videos etc.
Apparently it has some differences to American Sign Language (ASL) and you will have trouble communicating if using ASL.
Here's a link to some resources:

I believe that I've read that the sign language used by Bangkok street traders is not the standard Thai sign language, but rather something unrelated that has evolved amongst the traders themselves.
