May 26, 20197 yr The cabinet had a meeting about it and decided to do further study of how to implement insurance for O-A visas. They will discuss plans and make a formal announcement when and if it becomes a requirement. May 26, 20197 yr OP small point. Keep in mind you are not extending your visa. When your O-A is about to expire you will be applying for "extension of stay based on retirement". Its not an extension of the visa. At some point you could change the " based on...." Could be based on marriage to thai etc. Edited May 26, 20197 yr by DrJack54
